date with Tim Draper, the legendary investor behind Skype,
Hotmail and Baidu?

Update - Feb 1,
2009 : We've received over 40 entries so far,
but have decided to extend the deadline to Feb 15, 2009 to allow
for more people to participate.
Can you reach into your crystal ball and predict a major
business or technology event or trend to happen in 2009?
If so, here's an opportunity for you to win a lunch date with
Tim Draper, Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
Rules of the contest
·
Your
prediction can be on anything related to business, venture
capital , economy, technology or the tech sector at large.

should be clear and concise. It could be a short sentence
(e.g The
Dow Jones index will be 15000 points by Dec 31 2009)
or a paragraph, but no longer than 100 words ideally.
We are not looking for an essay per se (although that doesn't
disqualify you)

unambiguous, quantifiable (where necessary) and may not contain
inflammatory or objectionable statements.
·
Prediction
timeline (your boundary for the event to happen) is Dec 31,
2009.

your
entries here.

number (in the body of the email)
·
All entries
must be submitted to TechCoire by
Feb 15, 2009.
The winning entry will be selected by Tim
Draper. The selection will be based on the uniqueness,
accuracy and how wild/outrageous the prediction was. His
selection will be final and binding.
The Winning Entry
Winner will be announced at the January 2010 TechCoire meeting.
You'll receive a lunch date with Tim Draper, MD of Draper Fisher
Jurvetson, a signed letter announcing your selection and of
