Call for Business Summaries to Present to Investors
August 25, 2008- Submission Deadline for Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs seeking capital are invited to apply to present. Seed to Early stage companies seeking investment capital are encouraged to apply to present. You must be seeking seed or early (500K to $7M) to mid stage capital of no more than $20M dollars and be geographically located in the United States or have a strong focus on the US market. Your product, idea or business must ideally fit one of the following segments : Mobile Infrastructure, Platforms, User Experience, Content, Infotainment, Applications or Enterprise.

Note: In some cases, certain innovations may fall into more than one category. Example: A graphics accelerator chip that goes into a PDSN. Only a limited number of opportunities are available and the selection committee will choose the best of the presentations based on a number of factors including the merit of the innovation, investor-worthiness of the idea (market, management, multiple) and investor readiness. Please send your executive summary AND your investor pitch before Aug 25,2008 to info#mobitechfest.com  (replace # with the @ symbol) be considered to present. Here's a sample executive summary template. (NOTE : We prefer investor-ready presentations over executive summaries)

Selection Process & Presentation Fee

There is a three-phased selection process that includes an initial pre-screen when we receive the proposal, a team review on August 27th and 28th and, a final ranking. Only the top 12-16 ranked companies will be selected to present.

Selected candidates will be notified on or before August 29, 2008, at which time you can register as a presenter for the conference. If you are selected, you will be required to pay $995 to cover your presentation fee, coaching fee and the cost of two individuals from your organization to attend the venture conference.  Two additional registrants from the same organization are just $195 each for the entire conference.

On September 2nd/3rd TechCoire will hold one-on-one presentation dry-runs and subsequently you will be able to make necessary changes before the conference on September 9, 2008. 

Pitching on Sep 9, 2008

On Sep 9th, each presenting company will have a max of 25 minutes allotted for your presentation. This is split into a 15 minute formal presentation, followed by a 10 minute Q&A, mostly from the investor audience. You'll also obtain written feedback from each of the investor which will be shared with you within one week of the event.
