Very few companies have successfully created and leveraged an effective channel strategy to sell their technology products. IBM is known for the effectiveness of its channel strategy, but most startup and smaller companies, and larger companies without the brand and financial resources find it challenging and costly to drive business through indirect channels.

Join a team of industry experts who will discuss the important topic on how strategic partnering and channel sales can help your firm drive revenue, leverage marketing resources of larger organizations and position the company more positively to investors.

The discussion will address best practices that can be applied by both startups and established businesses alike and will include:
  • Top 10 Steps on how to create a partnership program
  • What makes a partnership "strategic" to your organization? How do you select those partners
  • What are the common pitfalls to avoid?
  • How do you optimize a partnership? - Thinking beyond press releases
    • How should one address pricing, promotions and other investments in the channel?
    • Why will the channel sell your product versus your competitor's?
    • How to leverage partner's marketing dollars?
    • How can you minimize conflict within your channel?
