Moderator: Glen Alexander, Equilant Venture Advisors
Glen Alexander is the Founder and CEO of Equilant Venture Advisors, where he has helped raise over $3.6B in public and private capital for his clients. With over 20 years of global operational experience in technology, marketing and sales, Mr. Alexander brings a deep understanding of the challenges faces by entrepreneurial companies as they speak with investors, partners and customers.
Prior to founding Equilant, Mr. Alexander was Vice President of Marketing at Semio Corporation (acquired by Entrieva), where he helped launch the first generation of their solutions. He also worked at IDE, a pioneer of Object-Oriented Software development tools. Mr. Alexander began his career at Control Data Corporation as a software engineer, where he later held a variety of marketing and product management positions. He holds a BSEE from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Harvey Scull, CEO of Keyeye Communications
Harvey was the CEO and President of Transparent Networks Incorporated (TNI). TNI developed highly integrated telecommunications subsystems based on wafer scale integration of MOEMS, photonic, and electronic devices. With more than 30 years of experience, Harvey is a recognized leader in the communications industry. He spent over 20 years at Tellabs, where he held several executive positions including Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development. For many years he led the Tellabs strategic partnership, M&A, and venture investment programs, as well as the Tellabs Research Center. His most recent Tellabs' positions included Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Networking Technologies Group and Next Generation Switching Group. During his Tellabs' career, he started six businesses in five different high technology areas including data communications, optical networking, ATM, and VOIP. Harvey has extensive knowledge in leading large-scale, complex development programs including state-of-the-art integrated circuits.
