A
social media business
strategy
is more than having a bunch of followers on Twitter or
having fans on facebook. It is about understanding how
social technologies impact your bottom line and how you
can leverage them to accelerate your business.
Now, innovative companies are applying
social media
and open innovation capabilities that leverage end-users for a
powerful new approach to product development, also known
as NPD 2.0 (New
Product Development
2.0). NPD 2.0 can enable companies to co-create
better and richer products in a reduced timeframe in an
unprecedented manner. This is where
Product Innovation
meets Social Media. And we've have an expert panel this
month which addresses relevant topics such as:
·
What are some of
the most
successful
examples of
co-creation with
users?
·
What are the
most useful Web
2.0/social
networking apps
to support a
closer
collaboration
with resources
external to the
organization?
·
How are open
innovation
platforms being
integrated into
R&D initiatives?
·
How can
companies
harness Internet
buzz – including
the negative –
to enhance their
brand?
·
What challenges
will companies
face as they
apply NPD 2.0 to
their products?
At the next
TechCoire meeting, you will meet a
panel of experts who will share their secrets and
strategies on how you can actively leverage social media
to advance your product development efforts and boost
bottom line.
