From Gasoline-powered cars to
Energy Saving
Light Fixtures and from energy efficient homes,
to
energy-efficient data centers…. So much have been talked
about energy efficiency over the past two decades, but
the impact of the innovations in the energy efficiency
space is yet to deliver its true promise.
Utility Providers and Energy companies has said
that the most efficient way of conserving energy is not
using too much energy and while we are doing all we can
to conserve energy, the question still remains if these
actions are enough to make meaningful change or drastic
new technology and innovation is needed. Join a panel of experts as
they discuss and debate issues including:
- What have been the biggest accomplishments over the
past decade and what's yet to be done?
- Where are the investors focused on? Where are they
putting their money?
- What opportunities exist for 'green' entrepreneurs
in the energy efficiency space?
- What role does energy efficiency play on President
Obama's agenda and what's its impact to entrepreneurs,
consumers and businesses?
We've assembled a terrific line
up of panelists including:
- Subodh Bapat, Vice President, Energy Efficiency, SUN
Microsystems
- Micah Myers, Claremont Creek Ventures
- Barbara Grant, American River Ventures
- Jim Parks, Program Manager - Energy Efficiency, SMUD
- Mike Kanellos, Editor-in-Chief,
